Earlier this year I read Andy Davis’ spectacular book An Infinite Journey: Growing Toward Christlikeness and it led to me see what other resources from Davis are available.
Eventually I came across his account of reforming FBC Durham. What a story!
A few weeks after that article was published 9Marks did an interview with Davis asking for, among other things, lessons learned from the reform of his church. If you are pastoring in a church and patiently laboring for church reform, listen to this interview. If you are in a healthy church listen to this interview, as you will find multiple encouragements unto ordinary, faithful ministry.
This story of reform is stirs, challenges, and glorifies God.
